MACY’S FLOWER SHOW FAMILY FUN DAY
make your own mini-greenhouse and grow lettuce in a bag any time of the year. The University of Illinois Extension Come staff will teach you about plant basics seed germination, soil health, plant structure and care, and discuss the importance of the four primary plant growth factors while planting your own lettuce. Top off the day with a visit with BZ Bear, games and give-aways, courtesy of our friends at Brookfield Zoo. Plus, enjoy face painting, balloon artistry, and craft station.
